in Credit cards
Hi there find the site very interesting and helpful good reads sometimes.
i was wondering if someone would kindly give me some advice to my credit card debt. it is around £900 and has been passed onto blair oliver and scott, i was paying the money through a plan with no problems then i was made redundant with a very poor ackage which could not help pay it off. i have no complaints about BO&S as they have been very patient and i havnt paid them a penny since november. however i have got a glimmer of hope at getting a new job with lloyds tsb and i will be back on the payroll soon, but BO&S have now sent me a CCJ threat if i dont pay in 7 days. will they carry out this action as the letter says in 7 days or is it a scare tactic. i am only 21 and made some immature mistakes and i have every intention of paying them. i would just like to do so in my own time, im also a student and i cnt afford to live and pay this on a part time job at the moment. I just wish it would disapear
thank you all

Please be at ease. They will NOT take you to the CCJ. They won't because you hardly owe enough to make it worth it to them. It is a tactic to motivate you to pay them. You SHOULD however be responsible for your debt and try to arrange a suitable repayment schedule. I would suggest simply mailing them 3% of what you owe in a monthly installment. Send them 12 cheques as a years supply. That will keep them quiet.0
