Some advice please - business account

Hello there,
Looking for a bit of advice for my husband. He was a company director for a small business, but, him and his business partner decided to part ways. BP has bought husband out.
My husband dealt with all the banking side of things, it was his name that all the bank stuff was addressed to. Im just wondering if my husband would need to go to the bank to sign something to say he no longer wishes to be named on the bank account or will the BP do this (the bank account was in the company name)
At the moment, my husband still has a bank card (for lifting money), and he also has a company credit card.
Should my husband go to the bank to tell them, or will BP just do this himself.

I think as it's in the company name he has no personal liability, but to aviod hastle it can't hurt to make an appointment with the business account manager at the bank and get his name off everything in one go!0
