Help with compensation claim

I am hoping for your help here guys. At the end of last year I was involved in a car accident in which the car behind me was hit, and I was then hit by him. Cut a long story short, after a month of pain I decided to see a physio to help with the back and shoulder pain. I then decided to make a claim to (hopefully) cover the cost of the treatment. The bump was just that, a bump but I am still struggling with the injuries which can't be helped with a 90 mile round trip to work everyday.
The car at the back of the pack has admitted liability, but are refusing to pay compensation because:
1) The bump, in their words, 'should not have resulted in injury', and;
2) their appears to no visible damage to the company car I was driving at the time.
The car did have a small dent and a few scratches when I returned to the lease company but it seems that it has not been deemed bad enough to repair.
Now my solicitor seems reluctant to progress with the claim as the insurers have indicated that they are happy to take it to court, implying that I am lying.
Any advice??? I can fully understand the stance of the insurance company, as if it was the other way around I would probably question the claim.
I am not after a holiday here, I just want too cover the cost of my treatment but am unsure of where to go next.
Thanks in advance

just out of interest, why didnt you see your doctor who would have referred you to an NHS physio at no cost.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I did see my GP, who inform me I would have to wait for upto 6 weeks. I had had enough my that point and didn't want to wait0

Your medical records will say what your injury was then, has your solicitor got a copy?
If you went to a physio then surely then can provide a statement referring to the extent of your injury?0 -
Cheers. My solicitor has not even asked for medical details yet and neither has the other parties insurance company. It has simply been dismissed out of hand before that stage. As far as they are concerned the impact was not hard enough and therefore they see no point in requesting details.0

i would follow your instincts if you have medical records to prove your injurymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
