Web Gallery

I recently just got myself some webspace, and I'd like to make a web gallery to display some pictures, but I am unsure the best way to do this.

COuld anybody suggest the best software to use to make a gallery? Free is best, but I don't mind if it's not too much.

Give Picasa a try, following the instructions here.

You can also install additional templates if you don't like any of the ones that come with it.

Perform a Google search on that, I am sure that you will find the right answer for your project.

I just did that, searching for "How to make a web gallery?" on Google.

The first result says like this:

This command generates an index page of thumbnail images with hyperlinks to all your pictures. These instructions were written for Photoshop version 5.5. I have used Jalbum in the past with good results, it is very customisable and has a vast range of features and best of all it's free.
