    So that totals 28 days - the new statutory minimum holiday. Bank holidays can be included in that and it seems that they are because you mention Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day being part of that entitlement (and so presumably you have no separate entitlement to the other bank holidays).

    In that case then what I said about having a holiday on a day in place of working the bank holiday would be true - because the Easter Monday bank holiday, for instance, would be coming out of your 25 days.

    check this out, my company said that if we were contracted to work easter sunday the place is closed so we would either loose a days pay or have to use a holiday,... can they do this?

    If your annual leave entitlement is 28 days including bank holidays then yes, they can. But if you opt to lose a day's pay, then you don't count it as one of your day's holidays, so you can take it at some other time, with pay.
