Well done fedupandskint :T I know from experience it's hard returning things.

12-18 months worth is a lot of exfoliator ;)

I know, I have 4 full tubes! Plus another one on the go. That's why I estimated that long! Good job I'm on this challenge otherwise I'd have another 3 stockpiled and then more and more without using them!

  • Well as promised to the lovely Sarahneedle I have at long last parceled up the QVC RLM Silver Heart Ring. I thought long and hard about it and it was the thought of having it and never wearing it that made me do it. I have often done this in the past and they lay unworn in the drawer. I promised myself I would never dothis again - RETURNED

Also RETURNED - Birkinstocks - knew really I didn't need another pair and couldn't justify it financially

Also RETURNED - Wild Organics Discovery Set. I nearly kept it and again told myself I had more than enough travel sized items.

All are parcelled up, forms filled in ready to take to the post office in the morning. I feel better about this now I have done it as I have thought about it almost every day of the last month without doing it.

Really no more QVC items to be ordered now. These are on their way back tomorrow.

Also to join in the using up debate, I finished a Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator today, which is a shame in a way as it is one of my favourite products to use. Maybe will get again once to rest of the huge stockpile of exfoilators has gone in about 12-18mths time!

:money: well done FedUp, without being condescending, I am really proud of you! And you should be proud of yourself too!! :T It will feel so great taking them to the PO tomorrow!

Day 11 and still going well here, not used anything up for a while, but should do soon!

Well done to everyone on their willpower. I am impressed with the sending things back- now that takes discipline:T I have just finished a toothpaste, an evening primrose facial cream and a foot moisturiser. I have no back ups for the foot moisturiser but will just use this horrible avocado body stuff to try and finish it(it has survived the 3 challenges:eek:) I hate it so much I only use it once a week, but if I use it on my feet every night i may just finish it this challenge- hopefully;)! I will probably go through another couple of toothpastes as my OH leaves them in his bathroom almost finished and starts a new one:mad: So I am making it my mission to finish them all up:A

I used to spend alot of time on this beauty website but have cut my time down dramatically so I am not tempted. It must be a similar thing to people who love the QVC. Stay strong all and take care.

Another few bits of make up from No7 GWPs sold today - so 6 more little bits gone and £2 in the pot for me (someone made me an offer for all the bits and I thought something is better than nothing) So will take that to Boots whilst I'm in town over the weekend and add it to my giftcard - but not be tempted whilst there :o

Used up 2 sachets of handcream at work today - had them ages and thought if I bought them into work I'd actually use them as I'm good at using the tube I have on my desk which I love but is running out  - time to start on all the other hand cream I had

A L'Occitane Shea Cleansing Cream 250ml finished off last night (lasted about 4-5 mths and was v.nice however they have changed the range now and don't make this one anymore)

QVC parcels x3 all posted at the post office this morning - feel better that they have gone now and the feelings of suffering temptation have now gone with them!

Resisted buying a CW Takeaway Shampoo for my holiday and use up what I have got instead.

I have spent the day baking treats for my holiday instead of buying them when I get there. Hopefully they will be nice. Nigella's Dream Bars; Twinks Honnobs (x36!) and another one to go! Also prepd a curry marinade and sauce to do when we arrive instead of eating expensive rubbish when we get there. Home made as per the 100 day challenge committment. I'm a bit knacked now and haven't started packing yet but hey ho!

I'm away all of next week and I'll catch up with you all when I get back.

Good luck everyone and keep on going!

    Fell off the wagon today!!!
Late for work and completely unprepared so bought luch - then a chocolate bar
Will be better next week and more organised with luches. On the plus side did a big Sainsburys shop on way home from work for half price diet coke bottles (and put it on May grocery challenge)so no need to fall off wagon for the next 2 weeks.

Not beating myself up too much as good to finally see what leads me to spend on rubbish.

Well done everyone- particularly FedUp on all those returns.
I've managed another NSD so no mags or clothes again. It's not too tough if I'm not near shops but it's difficult to break the habit of buying mags with groceries or getting some clothes if I'm bored and emotional!!

  • Did have to buy some toothpaste today... but only because we ran out last night, and I had to use DSs this morning - not sure about the mild mint, doesn't make my mouth feel clean! Also took some tops back that I'd bought this morning with the shopping.... I know clothes aren't part of my challenge, but it was £23 I could have done without spending!
