Sending tv signal upstairs

I want to send a tv signal from one tv downstairs to one upstars and be able to watch different channels on each is this possible ?

Get a splitter and run a bit of Co-Ax (Aerial Wire) up to the 2nd TV easy.....0

Sorry, can anyone do this and will i be able to watch freeview channels and does it mean getting up on the roof0

No, you will need to connect both TV sets to the aerial by using a passive splitter (if the signal is strong) or a masthead amplifier with two or more outputs.0 -
You may need a second freeview box upstairs though, but they are pretty cheap these days (unless your TV has freeview built in).
You will need an aerial splitter like this
And some good quality Aerial Wire ("Co- Axial" or Co-Ax for short))
Where your current TV's aerial is connected to the wall, plug the splitter in there then reconnect you existing downstairs TV to one side of the splitter then use some new Co-Ax and run that to the upstairs tv (and freeview box). How you route the cable is up to you, but you may decide to run it under the edge of carpets and or drill a few hole through walls or ceilings......0 -
There are wireless transmitters, but they are generally useless and the 2 I have tried in the last 5 years are heavily affected by wireless internet signals."See you on the Other Side"0
