How can I clear past entries that keep coming up when I type?

Hi, Please can someone help me.

I am using Sage and every time I type something, the words I have typed before keep on coming up as though they are stored in the memory or something. Is there anyway to delete these occassionally or turn this off altogether or am I stuck with it? I have tried browsing through some of the online help but I can't find anything useful. I am using XP Home Edition.

Tools, Internet options, content tab, auto-complete.

In there choose what u want and what you dont want.

ThanksT4i, I have been trying this but the PC keeps on crashing saying it is not responding and I have been leaving it a good 10 minutes or so but still nothing. I have shut down all of the windows I had open as well. I thought that this option in the IE page was just for Internet, will it get rid of the entries on Sage as well as this program is an offline one, not online. Sorry to be dim.

That being said, I have noticed that the PC is running faster, the time pages come in for example, so I think there is a lot of info on there to get rid of. Going to give it another try and see if I can get it sorted out.

Sounds like a bad sage install, pop the sage disk in and try to repair the program.

I have just been trying again - won't let me do it and just keeps on hanging and saying not responding when I click on it. I have let it run for 15 minutes while I get on with other stuff.

The Sage program comes as part of the Barclays Business Manager I have subscribed to so I am not sure I can put the disk in to reinstall. It has loads of other stuff on it but I have reinstalled it this morning as I did not think it was working properly so I am not sure it is this unless I have done something wrong - I uninstalled it first.

I have to go out now but will be back later to see if there are any more suggestions. It is still coming up with the text I have entered before though. Strange.

OK, I have sussed it. If you right click over the entries that are coming up in that field then it lets you choose to delete them all. Job done, LOL. What a long morning!! I have only been using it for 8 years on and off now! DOH!!
