Laptop and Wireless Printer

I have a Philips Freevents X55P and am thinking of getting a wireless printer.

Would one be compatible with this Laptop?

Thanks

They should all be compatible, but is this laptop wireless already?

it doesn't matter if the laptop is wireless, only matters if the router is.... small point i know but worth pointing out.

But we don't know if the OP has a router at all, wired or wireless. We need further info please. OP, are you intending to print direct from the laptop to the printer, or via a wireless router?

I'm planning to print direct from my laptop to printer.

    I have a Belkin Wireless G Router.

I'm very un-technical minded so: What advantage would printing via my router, would I need to disconnect my router if not compatible?

    Cheers

printing via the router is easiest and quicker if you have a few machines on the network, if its only you then print direct.
