I have a sky wireless router which we use for our laptop and also nintendo wii. Problem is that I can only use one at once and won't let me use both wireless devices at the same time as it just disconnects one or the other. I phoned sky and they tried changing a few things such as ip adress but then the laptop stopped working altogether so went back to original ip address. Has anyone got any ideas so we can use more than 1 device at the same time?

Could be a signal strength problem, have you tried changing the radio channel on the router? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Sounds as though both devices might have the same IP address. Are they set to 'obtain an IP address automatically' ? The router will then allocate each one a different address and everything should work.0

Thanks guys I have changed the laptop to automatically search for ip address as it was set to static and everything is fine now. Don't know why sky couldn't work this out when I phoned them !0

Me neither, maybe I'll give them a ring and ask for a job as that was the first thing I thought of! Clowns!SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0
