Hi has anyone got any other uk cottage holidays website other than cottages4u.co.uk. They also have loads of other "4u.co.uk" endings which are the same company dressed with different areas like wales, etc.
We have used them twice before but feel that we would get better value for money with maybe a smaller site. We are looknig at yorkshire, norfolk, central england preferably,
Thx

This is part of the same group of companies as cottages4U. A list of the companies in the group can be viewed here http://www.cendantvrg.co.uk/brands.htmBargain_Annie wrote:
You could try this one, prices seem reasonable http://www.stilwell.co.uk/ alternatively I usually look for links from tourist board sites for the regions I am interested in.Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Try FARMSTAYUK, I have used them for B&B found them OK

Don't have any experience of the other areas you mention but for Yorks try these:
https://www.yorkshire-cottages.info
https://www.yorkshirenet.co.uk
https://www.ingridflute.co.uk
https://www.bedwyns.co.uk
Also just google the names of the towns or areas you're interested in and you'll usually get tourist websites with accomodation links.

Instead of going through a company, have you tried going to the tourist information website of the area you are looking to stay in and look at self catering sections.
I have done exactly this, and only look at the ones that have websites and clear pictures of the entire accommodation.
I have found some lovely places, and hope to have it booked up this afternoon!0 -
We have used https://www.premiercottages.co.uk before. Really good. xx0
