I had to look this up for my MIL yesterday, as I have one & I thought they were called furminators & I realised yesterday they are BETTER than the furminator, they do all-in-one not just shread hair.

I got mine at the Ideal Home last year & its the best animal brush/comb I've ever had.

I've taken the plunge and ordered one!
With 2 long-haired cats moulting at the moment, I seem to be combing them at every available opportunity (when not picking up hanks of discarded hair or disgusting furballs!).
I also have a Sheltie puppy with a grooming aversion. Anything that cuts down the amount of time on her grooming is a bonus.

Fantastic for cats, I bought it for Ted (RIP) red persian.

Shreds it out rather than ripping, so less agro for you & the cats.

My MIL was very impressed with it yesterday & I had such trouble finding them online I thought I should share the secret;)
