in Credit cards
My partner has a Capital One debt problem that was all charges from a credit card she had. The debt was sold to Robinson Way and she made payments bringing the debt from some £400 to £279.00 during this time we asked robinson way to provide a Credit Agreement and asked them to provide a breakdown of the debt as it is all charges. None was supplied so we witheld payment . Robinson Way then telephoned the house making once only telephone offers Robinson Way then sold the debt on. I am unsure what to next. I am in the process of writting to Horwich Farrelly asking for them to hold interest charges and alliw me time to contact Capital One I am wondering if I should contact Capital one my self requesting a break down of the charges even though the debt is reffered to Horwich Farrelly.
Equally i am a little out of my depth.
Can anyone help please?

ur partner owes the money, pay up or it'l get worse.
u had no place requesting credit agreement. ur partner spent the cash so pay it back.0 -
Funny Chuckley I thought this site advocates fighting credit card charges which this whole dept is made up off?
My partner has already paid back the limit more than twice so she did not spend the cash the 400 is all interest/service charges0 -
yes recouping charges for being overdrawn by say 16p and being charged £35 daily, e.g.
going out of your way to not pay money you borrow, no no no!
the charges in your personal case is adding up due to ur partners refusal to pay back along with selling on charges. it takes a lot for some companies to sell on, so u knew full well the extent, but ignored it anyway for several months.
good luck.0
