Jen - oppps!! Nearly double of budget! But seeing you bought extra non food items its not so bad.
I too love looking at what people win on the i won thread! I gave up comping months ago now its takes up so much time. It was so much easier when they listed the ending 2moz comps.

I could spend a lot less but i see food as my treat. There is me and dd who is 7 years old. I don;t eat out and she takes packed lunches to school the freezer and fridge are always well stocked. I spend about £170 a month that is food, tolietries and cleaning products. i know i could reduce it if i meal planned and really wanted to spend less:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

I am a cr%p cook, Iceland is great for bargains though and they do a lot of fresh foods too.
I want to cut down on our food budget, don't want to be spending over £150 at very most per month.
Takeaways are my vice though, not good for wallet or my wasteline! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I always forget about Iceland. That is the figure im hoping will be the max we would be spending too £150 a month.

At least you got some useful stuff when you were shopping Jen and could be a lot worse. We try our best to keep it low but when my OH comes he usually ends up putting loads in the trolley.
We usually spend about 50 quid a week between 3 of us. Although I do end up popping out and buying little bits still occassionally.0 -
