well just spoke to him and he said no i can't transfer i have to apply.

I am going to hand my notice i am 100% sure that i never want to go back there and i am really annoyed with my manager. I am going to hand it in tomorrow. I cannot continue working for her after she has treated me like crap!
I have applied for the other post if i don;t get it i will go onto income support for a while i really don't want to go back. if i get an interview they will happen on the 8th jan and she wants someone to start ASAP! so fingers crossed it will all work out if not i wil be on income support and do comping etc all day to top it up!

Can you get income support straight away if you voluntarily leave your job or is it like JSA where you have to wait 6 months?

i spoke to someone about that and as long as i am a single parent with a child under 10 years old (dd is 7) then i can go straight onto income support
