Hi everyone. What is it with us and cars? First MM then Maria and me, now Jen, hope it doesn;t keep travelling round lol.
I have set myself a challenge to pay my 3k off in a year. Scary thought but I'm going to give it a damn good go. I've set up a diary on here to keep myself motivated and get annoyed with myself when I slip up and buy things I shouldn't etc.
What's everyone up to this weekend? I don't think we haven any plans for the first time in ages which will be lovely, but I know we'll end up doing something.0 -
That's good Jen, at least you won't have labour costs to pay. You must have nice neighbours!
Good luck with your challenge, yukki. A diary is a good idea - I've been keeping a spending diary the last few weeks and it is amazing how all the little spends add up  before I started the diary, I'd guess I spent about £50 a month on rubbish... but actually I've realised I spend A LOT more
edit to add - I've been getting weird letters from Debenhams chasing me for payment for tops that I never actually received. It's worrying me, because I genuinely didn't receive them (but they think I have received them AND also received two replacements) so don't see why I should pay for them. I dunno whether to just ignore them or send a snotty letter back?!

Don't ignore it CL give their cust services a call and find out what's going on.
Hope you get your tv fixed soon btw.
I spend far too much on carp and I'm really trying not to0 -
Good luck paying the loan off Yukki. I def don't plan on joining the car club, though I am sick of looking at the huge bloody dent in my door because it still makes me sad/angry now. I used to fritter a lot on rubbish, but I'm a million times better than I used to be (though I guess that happens when you never have any money).
You should get in touch with them cl, the letters will probably keep coming until you do. I might go out with my friends later but it depends what they're doing as I really can't afford a club on a Friday night. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000 -
I am unlucky with cars and computers. Have managed to break my old computer again, which is at my parents house after my dad fixed it oops!
Was a little naughty today and bought a few bits for holiday which will hopefully be booking this weekend. Got two tops and a skirt but taking skirt back as doesnt fit.0 -
I really need some summer clothes this year, am trying to resist as want to chuck all money at the car, but I think I'm going to have to get something0
