We've had it years, so wont be covered by a warranty I wouldnt think :rolleyes:
Spud I dont think warenty matters, my brothers had 3 seperate red rings on the same console over the 5+ years he has had, each time they have fixed it free of charge. He now has a new box but me and mum use his old one. On this page is help/support links

Warranty is now 3 years for the RRoD fault. It would still be worth asking on microsoft online help.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

had a bit of a lazy lay in bed this morning.
