    Len had lovely 2 hours at allotment today but DD got bored so had to come home...could have spent the whole day there TBH as its been so sunny and warm.

    Evenin' all ! Did anyone else think that when Len said 'Ron Hills' it was a euphemism or cockney rhyming slang for something rude ? Or is it just me ? :confused:

    Did you know that Ron Hill has never missed a days training in 45 years - despite broken bones!!!

    And at 70 he still runs a 10k race about the same pace as I do and his fastest 15 miles is 72 minutes - OMG!!

    Thats sub 5 minute miling round 15 miles!!!

    My dad used to run, was County champ U16 or maybe U18 at one point. Pity I didn't get the genes to be good too!

    Thats the thing about running - its not about genes really - it took Ron Hill 6 years of dedicated training to get his best marathon time :eek:
