Sending money order or cheque to USA

Hi,
I have to send money to the USA by the beginning of next week. I can pay by money order or by cheque drawn on a US bank; or by traveller's cheque. I can't use a bank transfer.
What is the best option? I could buy an international money order or a traveller's cheque from the Post Office or my bank and then post this. But I'd have to use FedEx or Special Delivery to make sure it gets there on time, and I think the Post Office will be closed on Monday (today).
Is there an online service which which will send a US cheque or money order to a certain address on my behalf?
Thanks.

You have several money transfer agencies out there, where you can send money to USA without the need of a bank account (neither in UK and USA).
MoneyGram and WestenUnion are an option, but in my experience they charge too much.
I advise you to do some searching, ask for transfer fees and exchange rates on some agencies and then decide for yourself.
I've only used this kind of service once, and not for USA. Anyway, you can check their website-> trans-fast.co.uk0 -
There's no such thing as an international money order in the UK - not under that name anyway. The only service the Post Office offer is travellers cheques (plus moneygram). Banks will in addition offer foreign currency cheques at probably rather a larger fee than TCs.0

Can you use paypal?
I have never used paypal in this way; I also don't know if they can do foreign currency transfers. But they do say they can send money to anybody with an email address.
