    Morning all

Still grey here but no rain so just going to peg out a few bits. Then put the turkey in the AGA and have a shower. Puddings all planned so just need to pick some rhubarb and dig up some leeks and get cooking.

Will do my S&S on the way to the shower. Have a good day ladies and I'll catchup later.

Toots - hope all went well honey and thanks for the ebay encouragement, I have a bid on one of last night's listings already

JillD - sorry to here asbobaby is still around, tales of her do make me laugh though. Is she frustrated that she cannot walk? Hope your day goes well xx

Soappie - re the photo - sorry I have no aircraft knowledge but it did make me think what a sign of the times. We have taken the kids to see the pilot on planes before and that is just such a thing of the past, just like taking pictures of your own children in school plays!

    Morning all

The plumber is here and is getting on with installing my shower...yay!!! I had to empty the adjacent cupboard...oh dear, the lest said about that the better I think.

I've still got a sore throat and I'm not happy. I have convinced myself that I have mumps...I probably dont, its just that there have been confirmed cases at uni and I'm getting daily emails from student services going on about the symptons. I dont look like a hamster but I've got a sore throat, its painful to swallow, slightly upset stomach, feeling tired, headachy and dry mouth. Toots luv, I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to postpone my visit on Thursday. I do not want to go passing on my horrible bugs to you and affecting your treatment. Big hugs to you and remember we are all with you, every step of the way xx

Jill - well done on your growing!! Have you ventured onto the greenfingers board? They are a nice friendly bunch over there and you will see some familiar faces. Enjoy your time away with DH. You need time on your own as a couple. Chin up luv xx

Right...I'm off to do some studying. I've got 2 uni books due back today, but I think I'll keep them til Wednesday and pay the fine

    Laters lovelies xx

Big hugs JillD, I’m so sorry about your money worries. Things are seriously carp around here moneywise and DH still thinks he can spend it like water! He’s just booked to go to the theatre, I made him get the cheapest tickets possible but it still makes me feel sick thinking about it. He’s agreed we can’t afford dinner out tho! Hope things improve with your DD.
Well done Iriedaughter on your sorting out and making plans and seeing family etc
Shazba hope your brother’s DP has her baby soon! Be careful when cleaning the windows, don’t fall out what ever you do! I put my WM on at 90 with lemon juice in as I don’t have any soda crystals, and all my cleaning cloths.
Hugs SSL, hope you are better soon

Well, I'm up. Reluctantly! DH has gone to work and I'm watching Lewis from last night. Just caught up with the thread, going to get some brekkie and then will start on the kitchen list.

Is it ok that I've swapped cleaning cutlery drawer with degunging the fridge? Is just that we might be getting a new fridge if our LL ever makes his mind up, and the cutlery drawer could do with a turn out....
