Pesonal health insurence ?

hi all, i have insurence policys with combined insurence of america.which i pay about a 1000 pound a year,now been self employed i know i have to have some cover.but i thunk im paying too much,and am finding it hard to pay these.i pay 190 pound per year for accident cover,which i get 120 pound per night for hospitalisation,get nothing when i come out and still not able to work.i pay 320 pound for sickness ie broken bones.nothing while in hospital.but 400 pound per month for disabilty.i pay 360pounds per year for another sickness policy,ie cancer,heart attack,and other serious illnesses.i get nothing while in hospital,or getting better?i think i get one of payments of 10000 pound for for heart attacks and strokes.and
20000 pound for cancer.can some body please give me some advice,was i ripped off by there sales reps.?is there something more affordable,please help, thank you sam.

    can you confirm the type of insurance it is.

    Private medical insurance
    Permanent health insurance
    personal accident insurance
    was i ripped off by there sales reps.?

    Don't know. You were there, not us. However, CICoA plans tend to be low quality and designed to be cheap and cheerful and sold door to door.

    i think they are personal accident plan
    critical five plan.
    Sickness income plan.

    Its a bit of a hybrid scheme that tries to be a bit of everything but doesnt really give you much of anything.
