Can anyone please tell the difference between Windows XP and Vista, I sent a word document the other day and the person said they could not open it because it was XP?????? don't really understand........... cheers

It wouldnt matter wether you were running XP or Vista operating system. The only thing that WOULD matter is the type of OFFICE you used
Which version of office do you have? (Id guess XP OFFICE? (Also known as Office 2002))
And what version of office do THEY have?:idea:0 -
i guess you are using office 2007 and the person receiving the file is using office 2003.
open the document > click the office button (the circle in top left) > save as > word 97-2003 document0 -

Agree except I think that's the wrong way round, I read it as the poster was using XP,the person said they could not open it because it was XP
So sogs if you have XPOffice get the recipient to do as suggested, if YOU have Office 2007, you need to do as gaming_guy suggests.Move along, nothing to see.0
