Food ideas for Bob the Builder Party

Can anyone give me ideas for party food in the theme of Bob the Builder?

Can I buy any BB stuff etc?

I have bought the loot bags and loot toys in the BB theme, now just looking at seeing if I can go mad with BB in the food department.

Thanks

If you can find some cheap tupperware style boxes, you could give them sandwiches in "Bob's lunchbox".
Here I go again on my own....

Tescos do a Bob muffin mix - makes 12 little cakes with pictures of the characters to put on top.

i've seen some bob party gifts etc in morrisons. only one i can rmember is mini ball/maze games, pack of 6 for £1 i think. trouble is they tend to display this stuff all over the store, hanging between the shelves, and not in one place.

also found some bob stuff here

they are very good with quick delivery, and you can buy stuff in the actual quantities you need, not only in packs. delivery is £3.50 though - but very fast. ordered some pirate stuff for my son's party and it arrived 2 days later.

i'm sure i've also seen some bob stuff for sale in wilkinsons too
[can you tell i've been to every shop looking for pirate stuff in the last few weeks????]

not really sure what builders eat - sweet tea and biccies?

:hello: Last year I did a Thomas the tank engine party for my son. I found a train shaped cookie cutter on ebay so was able to make shaped, iced biscuits - worth a look to see if you can find digger shaped ones. I also have number cookie cutters so had cheese biscuits in the shape of a number 1 as it was his 1st birthday. We were able to buy fairy cakes with little Thomas plaques that went on the top and I think someone has mentioned they've seen Bob ones. If you are able to get paper plates and plastic cups with Bob on I think you'll find the kids will be happy with that. :)
Hope your lo has a good day.

If you are making your own food you could have a go at making food that looks like the building stuff they have on Bob the Builder - for example pink blancmange looks like the cement. You could make a sponge cake and add colouring so that its "brick" coloured, then cut it into squares and build a little wall with it.

Make some chocolate slab sponge cake, cut into bricks.
Ritz biscuits with wheels piped on with primula cheese.
