Maxi Cosi XP Child seat - any good offers ?

I've heard nothing but complimentary reviews on this seat which leads me to believe it's one of if not the best non isofix seat on the market.

Has anyone seen any good offers for it ?

Any vouchers that could be used for getting one a bit cheaper ?

Many thanks in anticpiation,
Mike.

I also am about to order this seat.

The cheapest i have seen it is at www.twoleftfeet.co.uk
But after reading some horror stories about poor customer service i found it at www.kiddicare.com for £5 extra. But they have agreed to price-match twoleftfeet at £79.99 with free delivery.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for this - The model i'm after appears to be the more expensive Priori at £115.

Ideally i'd rather try and find this at the £100 mark - anyone know of any offers ?

    May try Halfords at Lunch.

Just make sure that you get the priori version and not just the XP. The priori also has a lever that makes the fit in your car extra secure.

I have this car seat and can thoroughly recommend it.

I have bought 2 in the last 3 months from a ebay shop. db nursery goods
They are ex display and often have lots of differnt ones on sale. I have noticed a lot of ebay shops selling new ones.
I got the hari colurway brand new with all tags intact for £40incl postage. I also got the mothercare exclusive the pink hippy style patchwork one for £60....have see 2nd hand ones in this style go for over a £100.
Might be worth a look! Oh, by the way - they are great car seats. Got the 1st one to replace one i was using but didnt fel comfortable with. The girlie one is in the attic ready for when by youngest gets bigger....cant fault the seats at all!

    HTH!

  • Some of the car seats may be coming up cheaper as the regulations on them are changing. Think its something to do with extra side protection. I have the top of the range one, Priori xp I think, and its fantastic. Much better than my Renaissance (Britax top of range). Has clips on side to hold belt back and fits in car so easily. Cost £130 about a year ago but as daughter is in car a lot, its a small price to pay for her safety.
