Mp3 cd

I have some mp3's on a external hard drive that i'd like to put on a cd. My car can play mp3 cd's so this would be the best option as i could fit more on.

How do i do it? I've had a search but obviously the simplest of things cause the most trouble!

An idiots guide would be good!!

do you have a cd burning program i.e. Nero . If so all you have to do is burn a data CD and you'll get approx 200 tracks on it

as above, just drag them over to Nero or equivalent burning software, and copy them as a data file

If you create a "data" disc it will work fine in a compter but might not work in your car. Most burning software has an option to burn an audio mp3 cd. This option will work in your car and most modern dvd players.

So do i need to make an audio MP3? Will it mean less songs on the disc?

I currently use DVD flick to convert and burn DVD's will nero do this? I could get rid of Flick if it does?

An audio mp3 cd will store about the same number of songs as a data cd would.

If you've got Windows Media Player 11 you don't need any other software.
Use the Burn tab to create your mp3 data CD.
