Hi everyone,

Just wanted to come on here to thank the Argos Middlebrook store next to the Reebok stadium in Bolton!

I bought a mirror in store and when it came to the desk I had selected the wrong item
The lad on the desk saw a query in my face and asked if everything was ok, and I explained that I thought it would be bigger and I had maybe selected the wrong item.

He then said it was not a problem at all and took me to the refund tills and gave me my money back. He looked in the big catalogue and suggested a suitable alternative, but it was out of stock but then he said hang on if you can get to either Bolton town centre or Wigan I can reserve it for you in the store there, which he did so I popped down to Bolton town centre and bought it there.

I felt so pleased :rotfl:

See we're not all gremlins!!!!! Unless you have no receipt or no bank statement Argos staff are a very friendly bunch, deep deep down!

Yea, but some of your managers and even some staff in Birmingham are proper EVIL gremlin/Trolls (A cross, i think a half cast thing). Must be the headace or something.

Op seems like normal service in argos :cool:.

Couldn't you have waited at Middlebrook and they could have brought it over for you
