back from taking Charlie out. It is lovely here today. Gone a bit cloudy but still quite warm. I expect there will be the smell of barbecue's this afternoon across Poole!

  • Maz-you incredible superstar.

    MWAH!

I am in the doghouse with OH because I didn't let him sleep in this morning. Ho hum. (and also because I went out Fri and had a great time-he was jealous I think...)

Kids had lovely hunt this morning, lamb is in the oven and Im doing roasted new potatoes, green beans, carrots and sweetcorn, pig in a blanket (cause the kids love them) mini HM yorkshires and hot cross bun bread and butter pudding a la Jamie Oliver for pud.

Then I have about 10 loads of laundry to do (ok, 4) and then iron them all-determined not to have a mammoth ironing pile again.

    Happy Easter all. x

  • Afternoon all!

It's a grey, cold day here in Scarborough. I'm just getting the washing dried before I go back to my grandma's for Sun lunch. I won £10 on matched betting from yesterday so thanks to whoever brought the topic up on yesterday's thread. With any luck, if I can get the hang of it, I could have my Halifax card paid off by the start of June! :j :j :j

Also, I know there's a lot of experienced runners on here and I was wondering if you could help. I've agreed to do a sponsered walk in June for Sue Ryder and it's about 6 miles! I will be walking, not running, I can assure you. :D But I was wondering how I should go about building myself up to walking that kind of distance, since it's quite a lot for me. I don't want to overdo it but at the same time, I don't want to be too knackered on the day either. As you can tell, I've never done this before. :D
