In our house we have Two Xbox 360's and a Pc with a orange livebox as a router i was wondering if there was something i could buy to plug into the orange live box ethernet port so i could insert two cables into one ethernet if you understand me

Although reviews sayin it won't work and I would have to agree. Not sure how it would actually work.

If you need to split one ethernet port into many, you need a switch. A neater solution is a 4port wireless adsl router.

the 2nd router wan port connects to the orange router port and the xboxes would plug into lan ports, routers are buttons on ebay these days.

why on earth are you people suggesting to buy another router, it may complicate it even more.

all you need is a switch (i have this one). it will plug into one port on the livebox and give you 4 extra ports. as for configuration, you just plug a cable from the livebox to a port on the switch, then run a cable from the switch to the computer/xbox etc and plug the power lead in and away you go.

A switch would job the job just fine Just plug it in to one of the 2 Ethernet ports on the Orange router.
