Praise to BA for speedy handling of ripped trousers

Having ripped my trousers on some sharp metal in the arm rest of a BA flight this week, I was impressed by same day confirmation from BA that they would be covering repair costs and providing a reference no. They also said that the seat had been serviced. I wouldn't have been able to replace the trousers (which were a rare good fit/almost new) so requested reimbursement for the repair, rather than a new pair. Nice and straightforward.

Wow seems like the airline industry is changing its attitude, I am sure they made enough money from you flying with them, to cover the cost of the trousers.
