What recourse for lost Privacyguard details (paper application)

Hi,
I previously asked here about my risk band with LTSB, which I believe is unjustified to be a 9 (with a credit policy decline marker). That time, the agent in the branch was actively selling me the Privacyguard, claiming that if I were to apply for it, I can know why I am a 9. I applied in store, with everything printed out, and told it'll be processed within 7 working days.
After consultation with others (and also personally confirmed by LTSB people), they confirmed that any adverse data with Experian will be "Credit Bureau Data" and not "Credit Policy Decline". I believe I was missold, but as the Privacyguard is just £1 for the 1st month, I don't mind anyway.
But it has been a long time since the application and I have not heard anything regarding Privacyguard. So on Thursday I went to the branch and asked where is my application (showing my application proof then), they rang up and after a while, they told me they couldn't find my application, and advised me to reapply.
I was rather annoyed; so on the spot I launched a complaint - 1st for the misselling (that Privacyguard will allow me to know why I have a 9); 2nd for the lost personal information (my full name, date of birth, address, previous address, current account details, credit card details) in the Privacyguard application form. The manager said she'll be in contact with me next Tuesday; I also told her I was very very angry about the 9, because I have always been an excellent customer.
Of course I do not expect anything to change for the 9 (other than for the next month's score to be recalculated).
But what recourse do you think I can rightfully demand for the lost details? It is extremely ironic that by applying to Privacyguard, one is actually exposing himself to privacy issues!
Thanks.
