Accomodation in Moscow is ridiculusly expensive. Your best bet is Petersburg and go to the theatre / Hermitage etc I would advise an organised tour if you dont speak Russian The Russians make getting a visa hard work so apply early through the consulate in Edinburgh. Why not try "The Creamea in the Ukraine -very hot then.Or experience Russia for half the price in Estonia (Tallin ) Lj"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170
