Our tea tonight was seafood pasta!
In a wok I put 2 tins chopped tomatoes, a slug of white wine, chilli and garlic (to your taste), bring to the boil and then leave on a high simmer until reduced by about half. While cooking down, I cook some linguine in boiling water and drain when ready.
Once the tomato sauce has reduced, add the defrosted and drained seafood mix (sometimes I add extra prawns to make it stretch further) and heat until seafood is warmed through. Serve on the pasta with a nce crispy side salad - yum!0 -
I had a seafood pizza once, lush.
Either make your own base (far better) or use a ready made one, I use ready made bolognese sauce instead of tomato sauce (more flavour) then top with defrosted seafood and mozzarella, finished with a bit of mature Cheddar or Parmesan. Lovely!If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

I have a bag of frozen Birds Eye Seafood Cocktail purchased before christmas that I want to get rid of.

In a nice savoury white sauce then fill pancakes. heat thru in oven. Mmmmmmmmm
