Any Edinburgh Zoo discounts or vouchers?

Me and my family are having a nice day in Edinburgh soon but I have just seen the prices for Edinburgh Zoo and they are £14 per adult, and kids are nearly as dear.

Ar there any ways we can geta discount by a voucher or something as I really would like to go but that would blow most of our spending money??

Anyone help please?

Today's Lothian bus ticket had a £1 off offer on it's back - but you are more likely to get the £5 off Edinburgh Dungeon, an advert for The Homecoming or if you are really lucky a Big Mac & Medium Fries for £1.99 offer.

I've also seen "get a free penguin" on the brochures for the zoo

write to them and tell them you want to go and cant afford it due to the costs, did this with chester zoo as there were no coupons about and they sent some free child places coupons out

I visited Edinburgh zoo on Friday. The prices quoted are including a voluntary donation to the Chimpanzee project. You can opt out and so adult price would be £12.60 and child £8.50 as opposed to £14 and £9.50.
Concessions available for students and the unemployed + senior citizens with proof.

Beware however using tesco days out vouchers - they MUST be special ones just for the Zoo and have the Edinburgh zoo stamped on it. I went with normal tesco days out vouchers which weren't acceptable and had to pay cash.
