Hi, we have sent all ours out for a mid july wedding. We sent them out about 2 weeks ago and have a rsvp date for the 8th may so that a) it gives them 5 weeks to decide if they are coming and b) gives us 5-6 weeks to know definate numbers etc. As yours is november I would suggest beginning of september?😁0

Ill be sending out save the date cards as soon as the venue is booked, so over a year in advance.
Invites will go out about 4 months before

Hi guys
Wedding date is 5th September. I sent save the date cards out at end of August (one year before) and will be posting the invites next week! Reply date is by end of May - venue needs numbers and it will help with my budget planning to know as soon as possible

Must admit I've never heard of 'save the date' cards. Would have been of little use to me as we were engaged 6 months after we met and married a year later. There was therefore not a full year between deciding the date and when we got married. Is it that unusual these days?
