Just a little update on the appeal I did last week for an underwater camera for our Caribbean hols.
I bought a little Vivitar 5399 for under £50, battery charger and spare memory card 2gb.
Charged up the batteries and set about filling the card and using up the battery power.
A RESULT !!! 430 pics, acceptable, didn't expect outstanding, and no less than 84 minutes of video clip!!! The memory card is full, but the batteries still have some charge.
Haven't yet tried the waterproof casing, will report later on that.
Oh, and any tips on how to eliminate the background hum on the audio, garden fine, Whistling Sid (our local thrush) in full voice, but a very intrusive HUMMMMMMMM
