Still trying to sort the car out....nearly there.
Our phone contracts will be up next month - so that's on our list to do. That shoud save us quite alot each month.

We have also decided to pay the loan off. Going to send a check off this afternoon! How exciting!

Just paid an extra £100 off the mortgage.... slowly but surely.... x

Well done, it's amazing what a large cumulative affect all these small savings make :j

Mortgage has gone out, plus an extra £200 OP. New balance 183071.17. DH and I have discussed a target and we are going to try and aim to get the mortgage down to 175000 by next March (when our fixed rate is up). Not sure if we can achieve this - but we're going to give it a good try!
Off to read some other diaries for inspiration! x

The car is finally sorted, we are now a one car family. Think it will take a little bit of getting used to, but I'm sure we;ll manage. Roughly worked out we will be saving £136 a month by doing it. (car insurance/tax/mot ect). We have also paid off our loan! wahoo! All very exciting. Trying to work out if it's best to OP on mortgage, or used ofset - or a bit of both.
    Any suggestions welcome!
Hope everyone is having a lovely BH weekend x

An OP of £400 this month!! Not having the loan has helped with that!
Getting on well with one car and keeping an eye on the food shopping.
We have eight months to try and get the mortgage to 175000 - but anything under 180000 will be great.
