Raspberry canes

OK so I bought some bareroot raspberry canes in a pack with some other stuff from our local Wyevale last autumn. I planted them and I am now the proud owner of five sticks in the dirt.....:confused:....should they be doing something by now? I was given 3 autumn canes about 3 years ago and they go from strength to strength.

I get a couple of servings (a supermarket punnet) two/three a week until after the first frosts.

I now cheat with the canes. I cut the autumn fruiting ones back to half height as recommended by the person who gave them to me. This gives me summer raspberries (several kinds) and then the autumn fruits on the old canes and last the autumn fruits on the new canes.

You gather I like raspberries?
