Hi Cheekymole,
No you don't need to be with BG to get Homecare. But...my advice would be to shop around. Powergen are doing a Homecare type of thing @14.99 this includes the boiler, radiators and whole central heating / water system, plus at the moment they are offering 3 months free on a 12 months contract.
BG for the same service are 16.99 a month
Incidently I am with Powergen for my energy (but plan to switch soon), but I get Homecare from BG and have had no problems with them, actually saved a bundle as they were finally able to sort out my temperamental boiler.0 -
EDF Energy do a home care type product for £9.99.0
