Afternoon All,
Thought i'd let you know about the fantastic service I have received at Barclay's today.
I have had no dealings or account with them before. Popped in, to make an appointment to open the Monthly Saver account and despite being busy I saw a personal banker within 10 mins. After 20 mins the account was all up and running :oD
Fantastic service despite how very busy they were. Tranferred by first £250 deposit in there for this month. Then popped round to Halifax to set up my Standing Order into my new savings account. :T

Never mind it says you can only fund the account by standing order. If you have current account with Barlclays and have internet banking, you can transfer fund into this monthly saver as much as you like...Spend smart, and save more.0

Yes i received similar Barclays Branch excellent service to O/P two weeks ago, was told though that even initial deposit had to be made by Standing Order.0 -
No idea about funding from another Barclay's account, but I have to say I had exactly the same experience of great service when I opened the same account a couple of weeks ago. I asked to open a monthly savings account, and within 5 minutes they had told me about the account and were taking my details. The only marketing I got was whether I would be interested in also opening their ISA which I don't particularly object to, especially given that it's the best rate available.0
