videos stop/start/sticking

when iam playing you tube videos etc on my laptop they are constantly stopping and starting and freezeing,is their a simple soloution to this.This seems to have started since i moved house.

Sounds like you have a slower / poorer broadband connection now.

As fay states, it sounds like the videos keep having to buffer.

Have you ran some speed tests to see what your connection is?

It's not an ideal solution but you could try pausing the video as soon as it starts and leave it until the slider is half way through. That way there should be enough buffered to watch it smoothly without the problems.

54 mbps is this slow?

I take it you're connecting wirelessly, that is the speed you have quoted.

To find your connection speed use a speed test site such as http://www.speedtest.net/ that will give you your connection speed.

Don't forget if you have just moved it can take up to 2 weeks for your broadband to settle to its full speed.
