Sorry but it has to do with C&P, or at least the PIN part of C&P.
This highlights the vulnerability of PINs, and magstrips, not Chips.
Any card displaying the appropriate Visa, Mastercard etc sinage, be it C&P, or Magstrip and PIN, then that card can be used at any ATM displaying the appropriate sign anywhere in the world.
Clones (of magstrip details) have obviously been produced and genuine PINs used with these cloned cards. Has the magstrip been removed from your Chipped Cards? I think not.0 -
I've read about the selling of account info etc, there will never be a time when we're completley safe, even the new fingerprints idea being tried over here isn't 100% secure, but in the meantime there are ways such as this to at least have a fighting chance!W00t!0
