Oh, well, nature of discussion to get heated I suppose.
Hi Merlin,
I see a rather heated discussion going on too, unlike me not to dib in where there is a opinion to be had but think now I am best part through a bottle best I don't start in that one!

I know, was purely 'bad' of me ... but I felt it all needed some 'stimulus' to start generating more healthy discussion. Was merely some 'sleight of hand'. Still, it's all discussion. Which is good.
Anyway, that bottle had a letter 'W' on it I think.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Sorry to disagree with you Merlinexcalibur, but no, it's not all good. What if some complete newbie finds this place, hoping to be able to talk through their problems and that thread is one of the first they see? Will they feel they don't want to post in case they are judged or attacked?
That's what the Discussion Time section is for - for discussions and debates. This isn't the place for it and I hope people ignore the posts so that it slides down the board into oblivion.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

all discussion is good, Merlin. However me on a thread with people who in my opinion are devoid of any sense of care for their fellow beings is not good. Unless they have had to walk in the shoes of the life of a bankrupt, they should not judge. The thread seems to have gone a along way from the original op and onto a slanging match against us br's.0 -

This is precisely my point and why I deleted my posts in there earlier. Defending everyone and trying to put another side to debt. That it is never always the person's fault. The forum reopened earlier so I was one of the first in there.all discussion is good, Merlin. I don't mean to attack you Merlin, and sorry if it comes across that way but deleting your posts doesn't actually help the situation - in fact, often it makes conversations make no sense at all which again, doesn't actually help any newbies that are reading.
On another forum I use, there is a 'time limit' on people editting their posts because often they can change their entire meaning by changing a couple of words.
I totally believe in people's right to have discussions and debates, just not here - it isn't what this forum is about.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
