Thanks for that, fengirl
I am technically still on the books of all the people who have employed me this year since I do random bits of shift work over the course of the year, so I have no P45. I'll sit tight and wait and see if they give me any P60s but it might be easier to wait until the summer for the info to go through, as you say. Thanks very much, this makes more sense now!
I also have about £15 in tax overpaid on a savings account when I was too slow to get the R85 in for the first lot of interest. Can I just ring the bank up, ask them how much tax I've paid, and add it on? I don't have any documentation showing how much tax I've paid through the account and the bank would charge £10 for some kind of tax certificate thing, apparently.
TIA

I had a problem like this one year and the key for the tax man seemed to be my ability to supply the employers PAYE reference. In those day's it started with a "C".0
