    How long after the maturity date do you expect to receive the cheque? I had the first one mature on May 9th last week but have received nothing so far.

    Mine was in the 2nd week after maturity in Jan. Good job done by them IMHO. I don't know whether it's less busy now so should be quicker: or they've laid off temporary staff so it'll take longer.:confused:

    Seriously, you could have been in the same situation as Landsbanki Guernsey depositors and be getting 30p in the pound back, and you're whingeing about 0.31% in interest when you don't even have any records of what your bonds actually were?

    Pathetic.
    One of the problems was that Icesave didn't issue certificates or acknowlegements that showed the rate you were applying for, like most of the other term bond providers, so I can understand why the poster hasn't got original documentary evidence.

    Just for information;

    Cheque received today (16th), dated 11th for a 1 year ftb maturing on the 9th.

    Amount was £1070.11. Since the rate was 7.01% does that mean I made an extra penny? :beer:

    Is anyone else still waiting for a cheque when account matured around 2nd May? I've phoned 4 times about mine but all the info FSCS seem to have is that it's been cleared ready for payment but must be in a queue somewhere. Here I go with the worrying all over again.

    1 year fixed rates for May 2008 were 7.01% gross, that's the only info I have.

    Are the people mentioning lower rates received, taking into account interest paid last year on collapse, and also tax?

    I got the letter and the interest is perfectly calculated (7.01% minus tax for the May one and 7.5% minus tax for the September one).
    Mine ended last week, so I don't expect to receive it yet - give it a couple of weeks more.
