Telecom Plus and issues....
Options
i took out gas and electrics with telecom plus . i was on 47 pounds per month and they said that was the only thing i would have to pay. because their leaflets where a bit complicated to read I spoke to someone on the phone at their end . so i was very shocked to get a bill in december saying i owed them more money (I have moved from the place i was in). i told them that this is what i was told on the phone but no one seems to believe me. anyone had any experience with them on this sort of thing? and what to do? thanks in advance.

There is no way that anybody could predict your gas & electricity costs in advance.
It sounds like you were on a monthly direct debit where they estimate the amount e.g. £47 but at the end of the day you still have to pay for what you've used minus they payments you've made.
Usually these even out over the year, but unfortunately you moved during the winter when bills were higher.
I'm afraid it sounds like you have misunderstood what they were saying or meant.
The regular £47 is just an estimated regular payment.
You always have to pay for what you've used and you have used more.
Unless you have something in writing or a tape recording of the conversation then I'm afraid I don't think you have a case - sorry.0
