Since the A1 is 409 miles long, you might need to give people more of a clue.

I would have thought that the Tyne and Wear/Durham border was a pretty good clue!!!!

I travel the area concerned on a very regular basis as an HGV driver, and see many things, sometimes too many to remember. For you to ask anyone to recall an incident on that stretch 2 years ago is a pretty tall order if you don't mind me saying, and I appreciate that you may get some trolls, but you really must give more away if you want people to help you.

Well in that case the police should have looked for witnesses at the time.

Unfortunately the Police sent the witnesses away

I didn't add that bit about the location of the incident till later, I posted a reply when Niall24 asked about location of accident and then added those details to my OP

    Sorry for any confusion

Accident happened at around 6.00 pm in the evening, traffic moving very slowly as busy, foreign lorry side swiped Corsa, hitting car on rear on passenger side, spinning car, pushed car down road. Car then spun away from lorry (I assume when lorry driver put on brakes) and ended up on grass verge on left of carriageway).
