Chatsworth House 2-4-1

I've posted this on vouchers and discounts, it didn't seem to get many views, so I've posted here it too.
Visit Chatsworth before November 09 and get 2 full priced combined house and garden tickets for the price of 1.
Go to www.chatsworth.org and enter the promotional code 'MovieMap1' at the checkout when you purchase your tickets on line.
With the code it makes adult tickets £5.20 each.
Adult £5.20
OAP/students £8.55
Child
Aged 4 to 16 inclusive, 3 and under are free £5.65

Family
2 adults and up to 3 children £27.00
That makes it £5.20, even cheaper than a childs ticket. I bet you can buy adult tickets for children.
It's well worth a visit, the house is magnificent and the gardens are absolutley lovely, the children love the cascade fountain. :j(Take towels)
There is also a farm and adventure playground which cost extra, but are sited so that if you don't tell people about them they won't know ;).

Watch the film The Duchess before going and then enjoy seeing costumes etc, from the film and even an original letter, written in blood by the Duchess herself!!!!
Take a picnic and enjoy a whole day out.(on the cheap:rotfl:)

Are there any discount vouchers available if you don't book in advance? I don't want to book online just in case weather is not good on day we choose

Thank you so much for posting this. We were planning a a visit, and when I saw the discount code field I thought I would do a search on MSE to see if anything came up. We have saved so much, we can now afford to splash out on afternoon tea!

    hi everyone,

i'm new here, so feeling a little nervous, this is my first post.
aitch-aitch you can sign up for an account at visitpeakdistrict.com you can print off vouchers for 2 for 1 entrance to Chatsworth house & gardens (voucher is valid to end of October 2009). There's also 2 for 1 Brunch at the Cavendish Rooms in the Stables. Hope this helps.
  • Thanks Saykab. I have registered with this site but can't find these vouchers. Could you be a little more specific as to where on the site you found them??

    Cheers
  • Hi, have just booked half price Chatsworth tickets using the MovieMap1 code, so thanks bamboozled2. Also looked at visitpeakdistrict.com, but it seems you have to apply for a card before you can access the discount vouchers, & the card takes up to 3 weeks to arrive. Spoke to someone at Bakewell tourist office who said it's a new scheme - he applied a month ago & hasn't got his yet...!
