    cpdc1030 thanks for your advice. I'm only staying 4 nights so it will really just be Toronto/Niagara. I don't have any problem with being in the gay area - just won't mention it to my husband ;). The beggars thing unnerves me slightly - I've travelled quite a bit and think i'm pretty streetsmart but..!! Kind of wish I'd gone for the Sheraton Centre now. :o

    Did you look at the Priceline and Hotwire options?

    heehhee blindman....not that I know of, but after I'd typed that i realised how it sounded!!! :rotfl:

    anyway, yeah I did try Priceline and Hotwire, best I could find was around $100can per night.....yes I am a cheapskate!!! :o

    I think you are looking at the wrong part of Priceline :confused:
