The trip to the hospital didn't end that well though. I went to have some blood tests for anaemia etc and I collapsed afterwards :o I've had similar experience only twice before in my life - due to sudden low blood pressure. It's fine, but horrible at the time. Was v embarrassing as about 5 nurses, a crash team and 2 porters with a gurney arrived on the scene (by which point I was lying down and feeling much better - had stopped sweating buckets) DH was dispatched for sugar. Am feeling fine now, just a bit washed out. Thank god no-one had to pick me up or anything like they had to last time - I weigh a ton, it is so embarrassing.
 and all I get is the MW wafting me with my notes - Pah!:rotfl:
I always tell them I faint when I have bloods done so they always lie me down and get me up really slowly afterwards :)

We also booked her home visit for 34 weeks as I am having a HB - I guess she needs to check the house out?
Mine didn't ask to check things out but I asked her opinion about it so she had a look around and gave me her thoughts. she also just gave me my labour and post natal notes and went though things I need to get and what they would need like a changing table near a plug socket in case bubs needs respiration.

I think I'll just eat nuts then - neither me or OH has asthma or eczema.
The current advise is its fine to eat peanuts if no allergies anyway so u've been avoiding them unnecessarily :p
... jackson was talking about 'the baby in mummys belly' and she said to him 'well we had better hope its not in her belly or we have got problems', as if im gonna explain to a 3 year old that its in my womb, things are confusing enough for him as it is!
What a weird thing to say?!?!

Chopsticks, I think I read the thing about not sleeping on your back is about pressure on a particular nerve and making you feel dizzy when you get. Personally I wake up with cramp in my calves if I've been sleeping on my back so I try to avoid it - my heart sinks if I wake up on my back cos I think the second I flex my foot, my calf's going to cramp up! :(

I can only get to sleep on my left side now. I seem to be able to breathe more easily on my left
don't flex it then! :p no but seriously that is what I used to do but now I stretch the other way - instead of pointing my foot downwards I lift it to point towards me, et voila no cramp for me :T

On another thread, I compared sex to a bus. I want the floor to swallow me up!! Buses are the root of all evil!!!!!!
What you wait for ages then 3 come at once??:rotfl:

.. I am so glad OH has his own computer, I couldnt give up my laptop !!!

OH has his own very powerful PC (worth about £3k!) at home but so far hasn't sucumbbed to moving it to my parents' house. My laptop is just about powerful enough to play his online games on so he's been playing that whenever I let him. He's been suggesting I get a web-book (the little laptop thingy) so that he can play on my laptop in the living room with me when baby is born, but I don't want to give up my laptop. Web-books are too small for me!

Bless him, he doesn't usually watch tv with me let alone all the soaps my Mum has had him watching for the last ten days! ;)

Right, really am going now.. was hanging about to check my Lotto numbers online but didn't get a single number :(

    Night night xx
