  • Chicken chilli? Fry up some onion, chicken chunks, add a tin of kidney beans in chilli sauce (and a tin of toms if you like) serve with rice/tortillas... and if you're me, heaps of grated cheese!

Thankyou. Nope, just me and OH, then out for tea on the way home :D Don't know who to go see first afterwards to show the pictures off too - neither sets of grandparents have seen a 4d scan before (inlaws have two older grandkids, but this one is my parents' first) :o

Congrats Feelie! He's gorgeous. Glad you got a natural birth after all. Maybe you could post a full birth story when you have time?

Glam, it's too late now but I was going to suggest you cut the chicken into strips and fry with some spices while boiling some leeks in a pan of water for 4 mins, and in another pan heat up stock and cream, then put it all together, add some peas, cook some rice, and voila - creamy chicken with leeks. We had it the other night with turkey (can;t really afford chicken breasts) and it's delicious.

Oh you lot have made me really hungry now and I don't know what I'm gonna eat tonight.

The kids are off to their Dads to eat just after 7.

Steve is on call miles away so could be home really late.

I hate cooking for myself but I really want something hot.

Hmmm, suppose I could have a bacon and egg toastie.
